1. I speculate the bombardier beetle didn't have a chemical attack until after the fall of man. (Just like the roses didn't have thorns). Just an observation - one an evolutionist can't appreciate.

2. I personally don't think you can't scientifically or logically argue creation with an evolutionist. I think it requires that childlike faith in God the Bible talks about in order to believe in creation. People who look to figure out how it all started intelligently and with wisdom are fools. Those who know how it happened with faith alone are wise.

I admire your attempt to battle out creationism vs. evolution with nonbelievers.

Some people may say that this man's teachings are not viable; however, I think this article makes a VERY important point about interpreting/reinterpreting the "evidence" vs. understanding what our presuppositions are. I hope you will read it and that it will help in your discussions with others.

Thunder, I have been battling it out on another blog lately with a bunch of atheist, who believe heavily in evolution, and in response to what you posted here..."that you can't believe how someone can believe in a theory without any real proof to back it up"......that's what they throw up to believers in Christ, and the Bible.
It all comes down to faith. They have faith that what they believe is correct, just like we have faith that what we believe is correct. However, I believe what I believe, to be correct. ;-)

I have always understood that this Theory depends heavily on the huge time frame of billions of years to really work. Heck, I can't really understand a time frame of 104 years much less a billion years ago in terms of passing time. By that I mean, even though there is a neat photo of me, my father and his grandmother sitting on a chair together in her living room, it is still hard to comprehend that my great grandmother was born during the Civil War...and a wee lad of 4years (me) is sitting in her lap in 1968. I love history and enjoy Civil War history but I am in awe that little ol me was sitting on the lap of someone from that era...too young of course to ask the great questions. So when evolutionists couch their so called teaching in incomprehesible time frames I guess it is easy to imagine evolution occuring as they say. I mean shoot that's a long time and surely anything can happen,,,right? That and it is a huge satanic deception to take our eyes off an AWESOME GOD who can create in a matter of days.

I myself got a degree in an agricultural/ecological field and was surrounded by these teachings in college and grad school and I did rebel to a small degree. I found creative ways to give the prof the answers he wanted while offering my own opinion using Creation basis. Got less than perfect marks but it was worth it to stand my ground on a more reliable text The Bible. I don't know if this is the most prudent thing for all students whose careers could be on the line, but we need to start challenging their erroneous assumptions and theories as Dr. Martin said. And let GOd sort out the "grades"

i went on a 11 mile hike, it was really really gruesome. Washington is the 2nd most beautiful state (alaska the 1st) how can anyone see the huge mountains, bald eagles, glacier green lakes huge pine trees and believe in chance is way beyond me.

I really don't understand how someone can believe a theory that has absolutely no proof, only speculation, to back it up.

I was theistic evolutionist up until I started looking at evolution and realized that it can't hold water.
